It is normal to lose some hair daily but if you are facing excess hair fall that is leading to thinning or balding, then you are facing the condition of hair loss. There are many reasons for hair loss. These include hereditary reasons, genetic factors, age factor, inadequate nutrition or improper diet, prolonged illness or medication, hormonal changes, stress, tension, pollution and unfavorable environmental conditions. How to deal with hair loss
– Massage your scalp and hair with a mixture of honey and egg yolk. Leave for about an hour and rinse off. Using only egg yolk is also effective.
– Blend fenugreek seeds with water. Massage on the scalp. Rinse off after leaving for at least 40-45 minutes. Continue this procedure for a month.
– Massage hair with coconut milk or aloe vera gel and wash it off after half an hour. This helps in treating hair loss.
– Apply juice of green coriander leaves on hair.
– Mix one tablespoon of cumin and half cup of olive oil. Massage it on the scalp and rinse it off after half an hour. Massaging only with olive oil also helps reduce hair loss.
– Apply a mixture of 2 tablespoons of olive oil, rosemary. 1 lemon juice and one egg yolk on the roots of the hair. Leave it for half an hour and then wash off.
– Boil a mixture of dry pieces of amla and half cup of coconut oil. Cool it and apply on the scalp.
– Apply henna on the hair and rinse off after an hour. This is an excellent remedy to treat many hair problems.
Preventions
– Pat your hair dry after a bath or shower instead of rubbing.
– Be careful with your wet hair. They tend to fall or break with the slightest of pressure. Use your fingers instead of brush or comb.
– Avoid using hair dryer, ironing rod, crimping machine, gels and synthetic hair dyes frequently. All these have an adverse effect on hair when used on regular basis.
– Use mild shampoos for washing your hair. The high alkaline content in harsh shampoos harm your hair by disturbing the pH level.
– Keep your brush/comb clean along with your hair. A dirty comb invites more problems.
– Have a balanced diet, rich in all nutrients and plenty of water. It keeps the hair nourished and healthy.
– Visit your hairdresser after every 3 months to get rid of split ends. It stimulates the growth of hair.
– Massage your hair with oil at least once or twice in a week. It adds luster and provides strength to hair.
